Day-by-day itinerary
1Day 1: Camel trek into Erg Chebbi → first camp → Berber music
Day 1 starts at Merzouga where our English-speaking Berber driver collects you from your hotel or airport in a private, air-conditioned 4x4 or comfortable minibus. From here, the road climbs through the towering Erg Chebbi dunes — Morocco's most cinematic Sahara landscape, rising up to 150 metres in apricot waves at sunset. You then continue toward first camp. Lunch is served en route in Berber music. Tonight you sleep in a private luxury Berber tent on the Erg Chebbi dunes — real beds, ensuite bathroom, candle-lit dinner and one of the darkest night skies in Morocco for stargazing.
2Day 2: Walk to second camp → lunch in nomad tent
Day 2 continues the journey deeper into Morocco. You travel through Walk to second camp. The afternoon takes you to lunch in nomad tent. Tonight you sleep in a private luxury Berber tent on the Erg Chebbi dunes — real beds, ensuite bathroom, candle-lit dinner and one of the darkest night skies in Morocco for stargazing.
3Day 3: Move to third camp → sunset dune → deep silence
Day 3 is your return day. You travel through Move to third camp. The afternoon takes you to sunset dune. As the light softens you reach deep silence. You arrive at your Merzouga hotel or airport in the late afternoon, with photo memory cards full and a head full of Berber drumming.
